Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of North Carolina Charlotte focused on the use of Community-based Instruction (CBI) for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in educational settings. The research reviewed literature from 2010-2023 and found that vocational and daily living skills were most commonly addressed with transition-age students, with varying levels of training and support provided. The study highlighted the need for further research in different domains of CBI to enhance outcomes for students with IDD across various age groups and grade levels. [Extracted from the article]
