Abstract
- Researchers from New York University School of Medicine have published a study on geriatrics and gerontology, focusing on the role of aldose reductase inhibitors in attenuating human keratinocyte senescence. The study found that these inhibitors significantly reduced markers of cell senescence in primary normal human keratinocytes. The research suggests that aldose reductase inhibitors may have potential in reducing cell aging and aging-associated diseases, paving the way for further preclinical and clinical testing.
