Abstract

A study conducted at King Abdulaziz University in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, examined the correlation between the Methionine Synthase Reductase A66G variant and pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The research found that the A66G polymorphism was not associated with an increased risk of ALL in pediatric patients. The study included 86 individuals with ALL and 150 healthy controls, with results indicating a higher prevalence of B-cell ALL compared to T-cell ALL. The findings were published in the Journal of Hematology and have been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
