Abstract
- Researchers from Jiangsu, China, conducted a study on the relationship between gut microbiota (GM) and nonunion, a bone metabolic disorder. Using Mendelian Randomization analysis, they found that certain bacterial genera were associated with either a protective effect or a higher risk of nonunion. The study also identified immune cell types that were positively or negatively associated with nonunion, suggesting a potential mediation effect. This research provides valuable insights into the potential therapeutic strategies targeting the gut microbiome for nonunion treatment. [Extracted from the article]
