Abstract

Research from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry delves into the mechanisms of lung cancer, highlighting the importance of understanding how normal cells transform into cancer cells. The study focuses on the chromosome structural ensemble characteristics of normal lung cells and lung cancer A549 cells, revealing differences in ensemble fluctuation and phase separation between the two cell types. By identifying "nucleation seeds" in chromosomes, the research sheds light on the mechanisms underlying lung cancerization and reversion processes, offering insights into cell fate determination in lung cancer. This study may contribute to the development of strategies for cancer prevention and control. [Extracted from the article]
