Abstract
- In this paper the governing equations of plane wave in non-local thermoelastic solid half space with initial stress and two temperature is derived. The governing equations of the plane harmonic wave are solved in the x-y plane obtain the three different waves namely thermal wave, P-wave and SV- wave with distinctspeeds. Appropriate potential for incident and reflected waves are formulated which satisfies the boundary condition on solid half space. The phase speed and reflection coefficient are computed for a relevant material parameter. The effect of phase speed and reflection coefficient are plotted on the frequency and the effect of reflection coefficient are also plotted at angle of incidence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
