Abstract
- A study conducted at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu, focused on the prevalence, risk factors, and knowledge of eating disorders and peptic ulcer disease among clinical students. The research found a low prevalence and risk of eating disorders, with most students demonstrating good knowledge of the diseases. Significant relationships were observed between peptic ulcer disease and factors such as income, skipping meals, smoking, alcohol consumption, and herbal concoctions.
