Study Results from University of Macedonia Broaden Understanding of Sustainable Economy (A Structural Equation Model for Sustainable Supply Chain Management in the Food Industry).

A recent study conducted by the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece, focused on sustainable supply chain management in the food industry. The research involved surveying 423 firms in the Greek food industry and analyzing the data to explore the relationships between critical sustainability factors, practices, and performance. The results indicated that factors such as supply chain collaboration and strategic orientation significantly impact social, environmental, and economic performance.
