Abstract

Researchers from Universitat Politecnica de Valencia have developed an eco-friendly cellulose paper-based fluorescent probe for the green and real-time detection of GHB in soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. This innovative system, utilizing advanced chemosensors, can detect GHB in water and various beverages, with a dynamic range from 0 to 125 mM and a limit of detection at 7.3 mM. The research highlights the importance of proactive measures against chemical submission and offers a promising solution to combat potential threats to public safety. [Extracted from the article]
