Abstract

Researchers from the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) have developed a new approach for speed control in permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) that does not require knowledge of mechanical characteristics. The method focuses on the outer control loop within a cascaded control structure and aims to provide robust control even in the presence of faults in current sensors. Simulation and experimental results have shown the superiority and viability of this proposed method. For more information, readers can access the full article in Automatika.
