Abstract
- A feasibility trial, NCT06689891, is being conducted by Yale University to assess the effectiveness of remote, video-based pelvic floor muscle therapy (PFMT) for patients with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and anorectal dysfunction. The trial aims to determine the feasibility and accessibility of using video-based PFMT and its potential to improve symptomatology and quality of life. The study involves 20 female participants who will complete an 8-week video-based PFMT course and undergo initial and final in-person sessions with a pelvic floor therapist.
