Abstract

A recent study from the Faculty of Pharmacy explores the use of microneedling procedures for treating acne vulgaris. Microneedling involves creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. While further research is needed to determine optimal treatment protocols and long-term outcomes, current evidence suggests that microneedling can be beneficial in managing acne-prone skin. The study highlights the potential of this minimally invasive technique in reducing acne lesions and enhancing collagen production with minimal adverse effects. [Extracted from the article]
