Abstract

Researchers at Sun Yat-sen University conducted a study on the use of three-dimensional visualization techniques in robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) for renal tumors. The study found that patients who underwent RAPN with 3D technology had significantly better outcomes, including less blood loss, shorter operative time, and lower rates of complications compared to those without 3D visualization. The research suggests that the application of 3D technology in RAPN can improve surgical precision and reduce adverse perioperative outcomes, making it a valuable tool in clinical practice.
