Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture in Anambra State, Nigeria, focused on the socioeconomic determinants of fast food vending in Nnewi Metropolis. The study found that the majority of fast food vendors in the area were between 40-49 years old, with fried Akara and palp being the most prevalent fast food items. The research also highlighted the profitability of fast food vending, with vendors generating a net return on investment of 0.37. The study identified expensive taxes as a significant challenge for fast food vendors in the area and recommended government intervention to address this issue. [Extracted from the article]
