Abstract

Researchers from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, have developed a new method using autoencoder and DenseNet architectures to predict heart disease. The study achieved high accuracy rates on the Heart Disease UCI Cleveland dataset, showing potential for improving clinical decision-making and patient outcomes in cardiovascular care. While the results are promising, further studies are needed to validate the effectiveness of this approach in clinical settings and explore its applicability to different datasets.
