Abstract

The article presents letter to the editor focuses on the ethical, scientific, and practical concerns regarding mandatory genetic testing for female athletes' eligibility in sports. Topics include the lack of scientific evidence supporting athletic performance advantages in athletes with differences of sex development (DSDs), the ethical implications of mandatory testing, and the operational challenges and potential harms associated with such a testing regime for young athletes.
