Processi pontifici in partibus. La giurisdizione papale delegata nel XIII secolo: alcuni casi in Puglia.

This paper focuses on delegated papal jurisdiction during the 13th century based on the Apulian documentation, through the examination of some case studies, which are not exhaustive of the sources related to this issue preserved in Apulia. Within a relationship between the papacy and local churches, and considering the pope's primacy of jurisdiction, it analyses the forms and procedures of delegated jurisdiction, highlighting the motivations that led Apulian churches and monasteries to request the intervention of delegate judges.
