Abstract

Researchers at the Research Institute for Complex Issues of Cardiovascular Diseases in Kemerovo, Russia, conducted a study on 163 cardiac surgery patients to identify the profile of cognitive deficits using a clustering method based on various parameters. The study found different dynamics in the restoration of cognitive functions after coronary artery bypass surgery, with some patients showing improvements in information selection and memory, while others exhibited persistent disorganization of cognitive functions. The research concluded that the developed clustering method can help group patients based on diverse parameters to track changes during treatment. This peer-reviewed study provides valuable insights for healthcare professionals in choosing appropriate rehabilitation programs for cardiac surgery patients. [Extracted from the article]
