This study investigates the intricate relationship between job stress and educator performance within the context of government colleges in Kerala, India. With the increasing demands and challenges faced by educators in the modern education system, understanding the impact of job-related stressors on their performance is essential for educational institutions and policymakers. The study delves into the sources and manifestations of job stress, examining how various factors, including workload, administrative pressures, and interpersonal dynamics, contribute to educator's stress levels. Furthermore, this research explores the consequences of job stress on educator performance, encompassing teaching effectiveness, job satisfaction, burnout, and overall well-being. By employing both objective performance indicators and subjective self-assessments, the study aims to provide a holistic understanding of the multifaceted effects of job stress on educators. The findings of this study are expected to shed light on the specific challenges faced by educators in government colleges in Kerala, offering valuable insights for educational policymakers and administrators.
