Endoscopy image enhancement using Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) technique.

This paper aims to improve the visual quality of endoscopic pictures by employing the Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) method and modifying the RGB channels using a gain matrix. In this paper endoscopic images are improved without requiring expensive equipment improvements. Clinicians can successfully recognize anomalies, lesions, and pathological features by enhancing picture clarity and contrast. This improvement may result in better patient outcomes and less dependence on expensive imaging equipment, which would ultimately be advantageous to patients and medical professionals.
