ПРІОРИТЕТНІ НАПРЯМИ ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНОГО СУВЕРЕНІТЕТУ УКРАЇНИ

The article is devoted to the identification of priority directions for ensuring information sovereignty of Ukraine. The publication proves that the information sovereignty of the state should be talked about only under the condition of creating opportunities to ensure it, which should include: the creation of a comprehensive normative and legal regulation of the concept of «information sovereignty», directions of its provision (legislative definition and provision of strategic directions for the development and protection of the national information space, determination of norms, principles and limits of activities of foreign and international entities in the national information space of Ukraine); powers of relevant bodies and their coordination and interaction; participation in the creation and development of international law norms with a view to integration into the global information space, in particular, the activation of Ukraine's participation in the discussion and resolution of issues of the functioning and development of the global information space, because only under such conditions will its national interests in the aspect of ensuring information sovereignty be taken into account. An important aspect of ensuring Ukraine's information sovereignty is solving the problems of reintegration of Ukraine's information space through the formation of a state focused on democratic values and promoting its image as a civilized European country; citizen education and formation of national and civic identity, formation of a political nation on the basis of basic democratic values; unification of society by a national idea. In order to implement the mentioned initiatives, it is considered necessary to implement several vectors - information aimed at forming a sense of unity in the minds of citizens; legal, the purpose of which is to overcome gaps in national information legislation, to reconcile conflicts; public, aimed at the development of a broad public dialogue on the problems of forming the information model of the state, educational - aimed at forming a system of media literacy and media culture, security, aimed at forming the foundations of national information security.
