Researchers from the Federal University Sergipe conducted a study on the feeding ecology of Late Miocene ground sloths in the southwestern Amazonia region of Brazil. By using a multiproxy approach, including isotope compositions, stereomicrowear, and ecomorphological indices, they determined the habitats and diets of various sloth species.
