Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Baghdad focused on the expression of genes TLR2 and TLR10 in the gastric tissue of patients with gastroduodenal disorders caused by Helicobacter pylori. The study involved 88 patients with gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer, as well as 21 healthy individuals. The findings indicated that the expression of TLR2 and TLR10 genes was significantly higher in patients with these disorders compared to the healthy group, with TLR2 showing higher expression levels than TLR10.
