Abstract
- Darryl's dance school in Perth, Ballroom Fit, provides a stage for para dancers, including those who use wheelchairs or have physical or intellectual disabilities. The school, founded by Darryl Davenport, has become the largest of its kind in Australia, offering 15 classes a week and a competition program that sends performers worldwide. Participants like Heidi Prindiville and Siria Lochrie have found joy, confidence, and strength through dancing, with the support of a welcoming and inclusive community. Darryl hopes to inspire other dance schools to follow his lead and create similar opportunities for individuals of all abilities. [Extracted from the article]
