Abstract
- The University of Sheffield conducted research on the long-term impact of the Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management (IY-TCM) intervention in primary schools for mental health. The study found that the intervention could lead to reduced conduct disorder in adolescence and depression in adulthood, with potential cost-effectiveness. Results suggest that IY-TCM may be more beneficial for children with conduct problems and those in deprived areas, potentially reducing mental health inequalities. The study highlights the importance of school-based interventions in addressing mental health issues among children. [Extracted from the article]
