Abstract

Recent research from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens explores the role of PLGF in managing pregnancies complicated with fetal microsomia. The study found that PLGF is a strong predictor of adverse events, with optimal cut-off points identified for PLGF values. Maternal systolic blood pressure, PLGF levels, and fetal Doppler studies were associated with adverse events, highlighting the potential for customized antenatal care based on PLGF levels.
