Abstract

A study conducted at the University of Georgia examined the relationship between maternal education and antenatal care (ANC) attendance in Georgia. The research found that highly educated women were more likely to have at least one ANC visit compared to those with unknown education levels. The study emphasized the importance of education in improving access to ANC and suggested tailored community programs to boost ANC attendance and improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes. The findings were published in the European Journal of Public Health in 2024. [Extracted from the article]
