Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Southwest University in Chongqing, People's Republic of China, explored the interaction between betanin nanocomplexes and polylactic acid (PLA) induced by lipase etching effects. The research focused on utilizing 3D printing technology to create red PLA products for food packaging applications. The study concluded that betanin nanocomplexes have the potential to replace synthetic pigments in functionalizing lipase-pretreated PLA, offering promising prospects for innovative food packaging solutions.
