Abstract
- The article explores the relationship between wearable-measured heart rate variability (HRV) and premenstrual disorder symptoms across menstrual cycles. The study involved 193 female participants, including 68 with confirmed premenstrual disorders, with data collected from 293 menstrual cycles. The findings suggest that HRV metrics fluctuate across menstrual cycles and have varying associations with premenstrual disorder symptoms, potentially offering insights for future diagnostic processes in this area of study.
