Abstract

A preprint abstract from the Psychology & Psychiatry Journal discusses the use of medial frontal theta (MFT) as a predictor of anxiety sensitivity treatment response. The study utilized task-based electroencephalography to measure MFT and predict treatment outcomes at various points. Results suggested that lower medial to lateral prefrontal theta phase synchrony was linked to greater symptom improvement. This research has not yet undergone peer review and more information can be found at medrxiv.org. [Extracted from the article]
