Abstract

The article discusses the importance of understanding Anxiety Sensitivity (AS) as a transdiagnostic risk factor for psychopathology and its association with various symptoms and disorders. The study examines the impact of computerized interventions on AS by assessing the P300 and late positive potential (LPP) event-related potential components as indicators of baseline and treatment-related changes. The findings suggest that P3/LPP can serve as an index of cognitive-affective processes related to AS and can predict treatment outcomes, with different neural mechanisms engaged by various intervention types.
