Abstract
- A study conducted at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid focused on the entry mechanism of Human Coronavirus 229E (HCoV-229E) into Huh-7 cells. The research highlighted the role of clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME) in viral infection and the necessity of endosomal acidification for successful entry. The findings provide new insights into the mechanisms of HCoV-229E entry and offer a basis for the development of targeted antiviral therapies.
