Abstract
- The article discusses the comparison between two radiomics research quality scoring tools, METRICS and RQS, highlighting their unique features and differences. METRICS, endorsed by leading imaging societies, aims to standardize the methodological quality assessment of radiomics research, while RQS has been widely adopted in the research community despite its limitations. The article presents hypothetical scenarios to compare the two tools, emphasizing the distinct focus of each on different aspects of the radiomic pipeline. Researchers are advised to consider the unique features of each tool based on the insights provided in the analysis. [Extracted from the article]
