New date to be set for the ICT Charity Ball.

The article reports that the terrorist bombing in London forced the postponement of the annual Intellect ICT Charity Ball, which was due to take place on the night of 7 July. The event, supported by the journal Computer Weekly and the Worshipful Co. of Information Technologists, was expected to raise up to 100,000 pounds for the Starlight Children's Foundation charity to help disadvantaged children. Intellect, the IT suppliers' organisation, is reorganising the event and hopes to soon announce a new date, likely to be in September.
