Abstract

A recent survey by United Culture found that over a quarter of remote workers feel they have missed out on promotions or work opportunities due to working remotely. Younger workers, particularly those in the age groups of 25-34 and 35-44, were more likely to report being passed over for promotions. Despite employers calling workers back to the office, employees continue to value work-life balance and flexibility, with many indicating they would consider leaving their company if flexibility was reduced. The survey highlights a disconnect between what leaders and employees want in terms of remote work and office presence. [Extracted from the article]
