Abstract

A recent study conducted at the Southern University of Science and Technology in Guangdong, People's Republic of China, focused on the development of a novel nanomedicine for the treatment of breast cancer. The study explored the use of self-assembled nanoparticles containing celastrol and erianin to enhance drug solubility and tumor-targeting capabilities. Results showed that these nanoparticles effectively inhibited tumor cell proliferation and demonstrated superior tumor-targeting ability in a mouse model of breast cancer, leading to better therapeutic efficacy with lower systemic toxicity. This research provides valuable insights into potential new treatments for breast cancer. [Extracted from the article]
