Abstract
- A recent study from Jinzhou Medical University in Liaoning, China, explored the effects of emodin on upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma cells exposed to benzidine. The research found that benzidine enhanced the survival and migration of these cancer cells, while emodin inhibited these effects by targeting the PKA/COX2 signaling pathway. This study sheds light on the potential of emodin as a natural therapeutic agent against benzidine-associated urothelial carcinoma. The findings have been published in the International Journal of Oncology and have undergone peer review. [Extracted from the article]
