Abstract
- A study conducted at the Sichuan Cancer Hospital & Institute explored the relationship between remnant cholesterol (RC) and hyperuricemia in middle-aged and elderly Chinese individuals. The research, based on data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study, found a positive association between high RC levels and hyperuricemia. The study concluded that high RC levels are an independent risk factor for hyperuricemia, with potential mediation by inflammation and hypertension.
