Abstract
- A recent study conducted at the University of Sydney in Australia examined the management of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in hospital settings. The research found that while the use of beta-blockers and diuretics was high among eligible patients, there were significant gaps in the use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin II receptor blockers (ACEI/ARB) and aldosterone antagonists. The study highlighted the need for improved management of HFrEF, particularly in addressing these gaps in therapy adherence. The findings were published in the Internal Medicine Journal and have been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
