Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Florida Atlantic University focused on ACL tears in Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) players. The study found that guards and forwards were more likely to tear their ACL, especially while driving to the basket during games. Players with higher playing times, rebounds, and steals per game had higher rates of ACL tears, but their performance did not significantly impact season statistics upon returning to sport. The study provides new insights into the risk factors associated with ACL injuries in WNBA players. [Extracted from the article]
