Abstract

A recent study conducted at Albany Medical Center examined the diagnostic incidence and pitfalls of rete testis hyperplasia and hyaline globules in 348 testicular germ cell tumors. The research found that rete hyperplasia and hyaline globules are common findings in germ cell tumors and can be mistaken for yolk sac tumors. The study highlights the importance of recognizing and distinguishing these histologic features to guide appropriate clinical management.
