A study conducted by the University of Lambung Mangkurat in South Kalimantan focused on the correlation between income and energy consumption in rice farming households. The research highlighted the importance of empowering women farmers to optimize the use of yard land for healthy vegetable farming in tidal lands. The study utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis and found that factors such as individual characteristics, institutional roles, and the external environment significantly influenced the empowerment and household economy of peasant women.
