Abstract
- Researchers from University Hospital Dr. Jose Eleuterio Gonzalez in Monterrey, Mexico, conducted a study on Chryseobacterium indologenes bacteremia in children with comorbidities. The study focused on pediatric cases with a history of heart disease, central venous catheter use, and coinfections. The research highlighted the importance of early identification of this multidrug-resistant pathogen associated with medical device use in hospitalized patients.
