Abstract

A study conducted in Xi'an, China, focused on the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical characteristics of patients with meibomian gland carcinoma (MGC). The research included 50 patients, predominantly aged 60, with a slight female predominance. The study found that GATA-3, EMA, AR, CAM5.2, and a high Ki67 proliferation index were commonly expressed in MGC cancer cells. The research emphasized the importance of observing cancer cells' cytoplasm for clues to cortical gland differentiation and comprehensive analysis of multiple indicators for diagnosis.
