Abstract

Researchers in Chennai, India, have conducted a study on the molecular interactions of the human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV) organism with 2,6-dibromo-4-chloroaniline. The study utilized techniques such as Hirshfeld surface analysis, Fukui function analysis, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics investigation to understand the chemical properties and behavior of the molecules involved. The research highlighted the importance of these methods in drug development and concluded that the Hirshfeld surface analysis was particularly useful in illustrating molecular characteristics. The study was published in Results in Chemistry and can be accessed for free online. [Extracted from the article]
