Abstract

This paper intends to present the personal, lived experiences of embodiment and describe how transition in AM has enlarged my perception of intersubjectivity. We all transition throughout different stages of life and I have struggled through many forms of transition. Personal therapy and writing poetry aid transitions and have also taught me that this self is a process which interacts with myself, others and the world we inhabit. Transition in AM after moving adds to this process for during this time the possibility of experiencing non-duality opens up, for writing with metaphors and moving are brought together. There is a strong link between moving and metaphor for both emanate from the body and metaphors act as a distinct link between the physical and thinking self for they connect us to ourselves and make us whole.
