Abstract
- A study conducted at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, explored implicit attitudes towards Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in university students compared to attitudes towards physical disabilities. The research found that university students exhibited less negative implicit attitudes towards ASD than towards physical disabilities. The study suggests that the appearance of individuals with ASD may lead to them being evaluated more positively as 'in-group' members, contributing to the less negative attitudes observed. This peer-reviewed research provides valuable insights into societal perceptions of ASD and physical disabilities. [Extracted from the article]
