Abstract
- Researchers from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences conducted a study on the effects of mirror therapy on the static and dynamic balance of children aged 5 to 12 with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The study, a double-blind, randomized clinical trial, involved 20 children in Tehran, Iran, who underwent either mirror therapy or sham therapy for four weeks. Results showed that mirror therapy had a positive impact on improving balance in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The study highlights the potential benefits of modern neuro-rehabilitation methods in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with cerebral palsy. [Extracted from the article]
