Abstract

A study conducted by investigators at Sichuan Normal University in Chengdu, China, focused on the emotional needs in marriage and love of female college students in China. The research found that parental marital conflict negatively predicts emotional needs in marriage and love, with basic psychological need satisfaction mediating this relationship. Additionally, feminist identity was found to moderate the relationship, indicating that female college students with a high level of feminist identity can maintain higher emotional needs despite perceiving more parental marital conflicts. This peer-reviewed study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing emotional needs in marriage and love among female college students in China. [Extracted from the article]
