Abstract
- A study conducted by Jishou University in China explored the relationship between anxiety, inhibitory control, physical activity, and internet addiction in Chinese adolescents. The research found a positive correlation between anxiety and internet addiction, as well as a negative correlation with inhibitory control. Physical activity was shown to weaken the predictive effect of anxiety on inhibitory control, suggesting that promoting physical exercise among adolescents could alleviate the negative impact of anxiety on their psychological and behavioral health. The study highlights the importance of addressing mental health issues in adolescents through physical activity interventions. [Extracted from the article]
